Wrath’s original airgrab is still the foundation on airgrab. This page is the 2026 follow-up: Nicothec’s cliff drill that stops people practicing on folding clones.
Why clones lie to you
Throw a clone and it can fold mid-air and refuse to hang in the place a player would. Nicothec’s rule is blunt: practice on a person. If you only have a private server, grab a friend, not a Toy stand-in.
The cliff drill
- Park a Pallet on a cliff edge so the throw goes up, not into a wall.
- Grab the player. Fling them medium height, mostly straight up and a little in front of you — not to the moon.
- Grab the Pallet without extending the line. A short tether is easier to recatch from.
- Lift a bit, then latch the falling player. That is the airgrab.
If you miss, you still have a board. That is why this drill lives next to pallet flying instead of as a ground combo. After the latch, dump them toward the ocean or the Poison Pit, or convert into a jump fling.

Yes. Medium height is the point. 30 studs only forgives a late latch.
