Fling Things and People

Fling Things and People Controls

The Grab Line is the whole game. If the binds feel wrong, every Pallet stall and every ocean throw will feel random. This page is the PC map; touch players should open mobile controls after.

Sportskeeda and player tutorials agree on the core: left click latches, right click releases with velocity, wheel sets the tether length, R enters rotate mode. Anchored world geo cannot be grabbed. If the line refuses a sofa, it is welded to the plot or marked anchored.

Wide FOV + grey sky setup used by Fling Things and People tech players (Wrath)

Why FOV and sky color show up in tech videos

Wrath’s widely watched FTAP series starts many tutorials with a wider field of view and a flat grey sky. That is not a secret stat buff. It is readability. Pallet flying is camera work: look up and down to bounce, look sideways to dodge grabs. A busy skybox hides the horizon. After you copy the visual, go practice pallet flying rather than hunting more graphics tweaks.

Reach numbers you should memorize

Vanilla grab range is 20 studs. Farther Reach stretches it to 30 and lets you restyle the line. Multi-Color Line (about 95 Robux in 2026 snapshots) is cosmetic: up to nine color stops. Neither pass changes throw physics by itself. Distance comes from run-up, jump apex, and camera aim — see how to fling far.

The Grab Line is the yellow tether in the icon. Learn that tether before you buy Toys.

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t I grab a house wall?

Anchored parts ignore the Grab Line. Grab furniture, Toys, pallets, and players instead.

Does Shift sprint?

Treat it as crouch in FTAP guides. Crouch also shows up in water-save tech on the survive page.

Is there a controller map?

Horomori’s audience is mouse and touch. If you use a gamepad, expect Roblox defaults plus the same grab/throw face buttons your client shows.
