Fling Things and People
Pallet Flying in Fling Things and People
The Pallet is a flying carpet that also happens to be a weapon. If you only throw people from grass, you are playing half the game. Island traversal, plot raids, and ocean escapes all start on a board.
Takeoff
Spawn or find a Pallet. Grab it from the back — Brickified’s comments section is full of players repeating that front grabs fly slower. Stand on the surface. Shorten the Grab Line (mouse wheel down on PC). The board lifts. Looking up and down bounces you higher; looking side to side makes you a worse grab target. Fall off once, respawn, do it again. That is the whole skill.
Combat on a board
Fandom strategy pages treat Pallet as the best combat flyer because it is large and light. Ram a player, grab them while you still have speed, and the stacked momentum yeets them farther than a standing throw. Lincoln planks are faster and worse at turning. Glass boxes show up as defensive oddities. If you get stripped off your Pallet, recatch it with airgrab timing rather than landing in the Poison Pit.
Clutches
BreadOnASwing’s pallet-clutch clip is the “I am about to hit water” answer: keep a board in Your Toys, spawn it under your feet, ride. Crouch plus a spawned flyer is also the textbook water save on the survive guide. Shuriken clutches exist; they are noisier and easier to steal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fly Toys other than Pallet?
Yes. Any large flat unanchored prop can lift. Pallet is just the reliable one.
Why do I fall off when I look around?
You looked too hard, too fast. Smaller camera ticks. Slow down before sharp turns.
Is Pallet in the Toy Shop?
World pallets exist, and the shop sells many rideable Toys. Check items.
